In the "Design-a-T" category, you get to design Bamboo's T-shirt before putting it on him! There are also four activities in this category: four different styles of T-shirts to design — (1) three horizontal stripes with a choice of four colors (that can be mixed for more options!) per stripe; (2) three concentric circles with the same color choices as the striped shirt; (3) a picture T-shirt with four mixable color choices and 10 pictures from which to choose (ask a math expert how many combinations that allows!); and (4) a T-shirt that says "Bamboo [hearts]" where you can choose from the same mixable colors and then type in your name or a phrase — when you put the shirt on Bamboo, it says "Bamboo [hearts]" whatever you entered, right on his T-shirt! The other two categories, "Holiday Costumes" and "Mix and Match," are both one-part self-contained activities. In "Holiday Costumes," you click one of 12 monthly calendars and "drag" Bamboo through a "quick-change booth" to see what holiday outfit he puts on for for that month. In "Mix and Match," there are three rectangles you drag to change the hat, shirt, and pants he's wearing; plus you get a point for each new combination you make — your math expert will probably tell you that there are 1,000 different combinations possible!! Good luck in reaching a score of 1,000! To start the first activity, just click below and then follow the simple instructions. When each item is moved to the correct spot, you'll hear a "ping"! (All of these activities are fun for all ages, but younger children may need an adult to help them get started or to complete some of them.)  |
