A Knight in the Museum
A Fundraising event for the Exploration Station®…a children’s museum

Friday, April 13
7:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Here ye! Here Ye! Attention all adults! You are cordially invited to a special evening of music, heavy appetizers and merriment at Exploration Station. On Friday, November 19 from
7:00- 9:30 p.m. guests will be transported back to the Renaissance with period decor, wandering performers and live entertainment. Join us in our Royal Banquette Hall for this very special event to help support our children's museum. This event is for adults 21 and older only.
Evening Activities
On April 13, 2012, 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. the Exploration Station will be transformed into a small English town during the 16th century. There will be fortune tellers, jugglers (Rave and Dave), a court jester doing period magic tricks (Magic for Hire) Knights (Ivanhoe Commandery #33 of Knights Templer), Faries, sword fighters, music, villagers in costumes, and Amazing Moments Photo Booth. There will also be live and silent auction along with a royal feast prepared and served by Jimmy Joe's BBQ includign wine and lager. Not only will our visitors be lost in time, they will tour the museum and discover our vision and hopes for our interactive exhibits. Our visitors will see firsthand, where we hope our fundraising efforts will take us.

Entertainment
We are using the Castle Area as the “Royal Banquet Hall” which would not only feature food, but also offer entertainment, such as period music and entertainment.
Live & Silent Auction
the new Live auction will be featured this year as well as a silent auction. Times will be announced at the event Auction items are donated from various businesses, museum members and community members.

Tickets
Tickets are on sale now and are $25 per person. This price includes your drinks, heavy appetizers, and the entertainment.
Tickets can be purchased at any Bourbonnais Township Park District Facility including Exploration Station...a children's museum.
Child Care
The Recreation Department is hosting an evening of childcare at the Recreation Station at 770 E. Franklin Street in Bradley, also with a renaissance theme for the children. There will be a fee for this service.
